Deer Down, Need Prayers for search tomorrow
Shot a good deer this evening at about 7:15. Shot and hit sounded good and pin placement was in the right place. Did not see the arrow hit though. Decided it would be better to take a day of vacation and look for him in the morning rather then take the chance of it being a not so great shot and pushing him while trying to look for him in the dark. I listened to him crash through the heavy briars and across the creek then nothing. Say a prayer or two for me this evening would you please and I will keep you up to date on the outcome. What a hunt. Deer all over the place tonight. I will tell the full story later. I think I did the right thing. Please let me know if you think otherwise.

Good luck sleeping tonight as well. I took a nice ten point last year that I had to wait a night on before recovering. I didn't sleep a wink!!!
