Went out this morning. Didn't see anything. What a beautiful day to be out. It sure felt good to be looking at the world from 20 feet up.

RE: HOW DID THE N.Y'ERS DO ?

Hey mr. bill,

Auburn, NY here. After an endless ongoing saga in regards to land hunting permision I finally got out in the woods for a good afternoon hunt. I saw 2 different bucks and 8 doe. I was at full draw on one nice 8 pointer but had to pull back cause the things are way too smart. Never came the extra 5 steps I needed and made a line out of danger. There's about a 10% area from my stand in which I can't get a shot off and guess what?? He hovered there and walked straight out of sight on that line. Oh well, it was exciting just the same. i think my heart stopped beating a couple minutes ago. My buddy was fortunate enough to kill a 6 pointer. We tracked it til almost midnight in the rain til we finally found it. Lots of deer for opening day, but we're socked in with a lot of rain today.

I shot a nice doe last night around six in the 9k region. I saw a decent sized buck in the morning and a few other does. My Buddy didn't see anything all day.
