RE: northstar stands

I got a Lone Wolf Sit and Climb for Christmas and have spent 5 or 6 afternoons in it and am totally impressed. I find it a lot more comfortable than the Hand Climber (I've borrowed it from my friend). The hand climber is like sitting on half a bar stool. They are light and super quiet - make sure you get the bow holder grommet if you order one - cause I forgot and it screwed me a little

I have Two of them and love them. My first is called the big starr I am 6'6" and 300lbs and like this roomy rock solid stand! My only beef is the flexcable they use It is noisy and has been known to pop around the tree and hit me in the head as I mount it to the tree. I just bought my other one this year and it uses a belt with locking cams, instead of the springcable. This stand is a huge improvment is super quiet and is rock solid. TJW

I'll dito that .

Pretty comfortable also.. I got mine at Cabella's tent sale last year. HalfPrice and then they took another 20% OFF. I do plan on getting a newer one for next season for my son.
