I bought the Legacy bow and I love it. It shots very smooth. I have a whisker biscuit rest with gold tip arrows. I don't think that you can go wrong with anything from Mathews. I know some will say different but just try one for yourself. Good luck.

For hunting I would suggest that you look at the Q2, SQ2 or the Legacy. Which of the 3 you like best will be a matter of personal opinion but all # are SMOOOOOOOTH and Quiet!

I'm shooting a Q2 and I LOVE it. It is a great bow, but I agree with the others, any Mathews bows will do the trick. I would suggest the Q2, SQ2, and Legacy as Todd said!

I've got a Q2 and a FX. The Q2 is as smooth a bow as I've shot.
I use it for everything except turkey where I like the 80% letoff
on the FX. They will all shoot great...some will just feel
better in your hand when shooting.

I switched from Hoyt to the Mathews Q2 and I'll never regret it. I love the Q2. I can't speak for the other Mathews bows.

All the new Mathews are great, but if you'd like a great deal on a bow with a top-of-the-line feel, see if any of your pro shops have any leftover MQ-1s. I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to tell the difference between the new lineup with the harmonic dampeners and the MQ-1. And you might come away saving a hundred or maybe a couple hundred bucks.

Discipline -- not desire -- determines destiny.

I have the FX with a Quicktune 4000 fall away rest. It is a TREMENDOUS shooter and I have no regrets; hey I can carry it all day . My old bow was a Martin Lynx Magnum and it was a handful - weight wise.

What are you guys thinking?? Short & Sweet is where it is at. You can't go wrong with the SQ2. All of the benefits of the Q2 but in a samller package. This thing is sweet for stand hunting or in a blind where space is limited.
