Indications on Bow Poundage

I have been using my bow for 3 years now and love it. Nothing fancy but perfect for me. I don't know how many pounds my bow is at but am worried about tighting it more because It looks like it is about maxed out. Is there any for sure indications about this or do I need to go to the Pro Shop? Thanks!

RE: Indications on Bow Poundage

Tighten down your bow in half turn increments, imagining the face of a clock in the 12:00 o'clock position tightening to the 6:00 o'clock position. Alternate the top and the bottom until it becomes tight, then back off half a turn, top and bottom both.

You will be at your maxed tension safely...
