My wife wanted a bow also, "So we can spend more time together." I'm All for it. I still had my Alpine Impact X-treme at the local bowshop on consignment so I called them and told them not to sell it. I asked them to order me new limbs. I had 60-70#s on it and had them order 40-50#s. She got it for Christmas and now we have to get it set up for her. She says she will never hunt deer but she will target shoot and hog hunt. I think it's great and I'm looking forward to teaching her how to shoot.
I'm lucky I didn't have to sell my smokepole. See if she will agree to a good low end or used bow to first see how she likes shooting. Then if it's not for her you still have your T/C and you aren't out much for her bow.
