Browning Bows are made by?
 

PSE correct? I help a friend out in his shop from time to time and a customer asked me who makes the browning bows.The shopisn't aBrowning dealership soI told him I didn't know because I didn't want to mislead him, but they are made by PSE correct? If I am wrong please let me know, and if I run into this fellow again Iwill answer his question. Thanks Jason

Yes PSE makes Browning bows. Browning realized they could not make it in the bow mfging so they had the best bow mfg in the world design and build their bows. If you buy a Browning you know you have a pretty good bow.

Does PSE now actually manufacture Browning bows? I knew that they had bought Browning bows, but I thought that, at least for a while, the operation was still the same plant/people/etc.

I wonder if AMO has a chat board where we could know for sure.

my dad had a 60# browning compound that he shot through 2 hay stacks, and the side of a barn before it was stopped by a 300 dollar saddle. luckily it was only a field tip and not a broadhead or the hole would have been much bigger

Browning, AR and PSE are now manufactured in Arizona, I phoned Browning regarding some spec. information and I asked about this. I was told that AR, Browning and PSE have separate design divisions however all manufacturing and assembly is done in the same plant. She went on to say that they do share design ideas but are encouraged to independently design and develop. I Don't know how true this is but this is what I was told by the Browning rep on the phone.

Shes yanking your chain. Look at the Brownign bows and look at the PSe bows, dont they look similar??? Of course they do.

I think they MUST have some independence. Share? Sure.

The browning bows shoot just as good as the pse. I shot the vegence , the primos , and the illusion. Ended up buying the illusion. All are good bows.

my first bow was a browning...the limb snapped a couple weeks before my first season...when i went to get it replaced they replaced it with a PSE....both bows are great lil bows.

Wow! that was strange. I would have told them "I bought a Browning and if your going to replace it, replace it with another Browning." It's not like they don't have them. Did they ever give you an explanation? Not that PSE isn't a fantastic bow they are, I was just curious why they didn't replace it with another Browning.
