There are alot of good places to hunt in Illinios. If your meaning outfitter ground I would say West central IL in the "Golden Triangle"- Pike, Brown, and Adams counties. I would say the hunting in southern IL is almost as good though from what I hear, but Ive never hunted down there.

I have hunted pike,adams county now for 4 year's.Have seen
more 140-160 class animal's than ever!Have took 1-159 class,
1 140 class.Would not hunt any were else unless maybe canada!
Hadley Creek Outfitter's has some realy good farms.We own a farm
in pike.

There certainly seems like Illinois has several pockets of activity where every season BIG bucks are consistently taken. For a very good idea of the trends in exactlty where the biggest bucks are coming from and how many of them there are, consult the IBBR book. You'll be shocked to learn that Illinois P&Y stats are actually DOUBLE what has been officially entered. I conside this Illinois record book a must have for any serious IL sportman or anyone lookking to hunt in this great state.

I've heard Hadley has some GREAT farms. I've also heard talks of serious bucks at Strictly Bowhunting. These would be top picks if I were researching quality Illinois bowhunts.

I live in in Vienna IL,alot of woods an alot a swamps,i know alot of my buddies get really big bucks,my best friend just got a 10 point buck that scored a 170,where do you hunt at.
