Success last evening!

I was out again yesterday evening, I got in my stand about 5:30 a little late but the deer come in right at dusk around 6:45 every evening like clockwork. Anyway just about that time I heard deer coming down a hill just to my right, it was two does one real big one and a smaller one. they came around to my left and I manuvered around while they were in some thickets, the littler one comes out into the open first it was at around 22yds I was thinking about drawing but I knew the big doe was just 15 yds behind me and it might spook her and ruin everything. Well the littler deer walked toward me and turned broadside at 12 yds I drew and just as I drew she raised her head I put the pin behind the shoulder and released we found her about 40 yds away after waiting an hour. Double lung shot. She weighed 65 lbs. field dressed. It kind of makes up for that shoulder shot on that 4 pt day before yesterday.

Dinner will be served at 7:05 sharp. Dress accordingly, Mossy Oak breakup attire would be most appreciative.

Congratulations! The smaller the deer, the more tender the meat. The loins almost marinade themselves in the pan.
