HuntingNet.com Forums - Success In Ohio PLEASE READ!

Well, it wasn't me..it was my huntin buddy a.k.a. my girlfriends dad. He got a big 10 point tonight. 19 inch inside spread and alot of mass all over. He said it'll probably score in the 140's. I havent seen any picks yet because I'm down at school (Ohio University) but i'll be headin home this weekend to see this hog of his and to get in a tree myself. As soon as i get some pics, i'll post them here.

By the way, I'm loooking for some private land to bowhunt in the Athens Ohio area. If anyone reading this knows of anything, please let me know. I'm a responsible & dedicated bowhunter that desperatly needs a place to hunt while I'm here at school. Even if you're unsure about having someone hunt on your property, I urge you to contact me so I can talk to you and asure you that I'm not some every day rum dum thats gonna go stomping through the woods. I know what I'm doing and I take bowhunting very seriously. I practice sound deer management in which I dont take immature bucks so don't be afraid of me shooting the first thing that happens to walk past me. I grew up on a farm, so I know how, and am willing to put in some chore time in exchange for permission.

Heck, in this point in the game, I'd even be happy to just sit there and video tape someone else's hunt down here; so If that stikes anyones fancy, please let me know!! I've grown up in the woods and I miss it when I'm at school! anything that would get me out there would be great. Thanks for all your help guys.
