Well i woke up christmas morning and walking down the stairs I saw that there were no presents on the couch.(My parents put my presents on the couch and my brother's near the fireplace every christmas morning.) My dad saw me and said "your present is outside"(with a smile on his face). So i went outside and saw that my truck was all packed up for a hunting trip. My dad said "well i thought it would mean something to you for you to go hunting by yourself for the first time." So i got to hunt that evening and this morning and tonight and I just got back. I saw a few does and a nice 8 point but was real young. I did get some beacon if you know what i mean;). But is was a neat present. i've never done that before and i can't wait to do it again. Just the feeling of being out there by myself watching the sun go down gives me a feeling i can't explain. Its awsome and there is nothing in the world that i would rather do. Well i hope ya'll all had a merry christmas and good luck hunting!

sounds like you made out better than most. I got a nice parka, a fleece hood, and a gorilla king kong xls, oh yeah, and shot my 11th deer yesterday! a big doe.
