Cause he'll be dead. I put 6 arrows in and around my 3d deer target's eye. LOL. I moved it out ot 25 yards from 15 and I was just shooting like crap. I ended up using another pin for it but I just hope I don't have to use it. I'd rather shoot one at 15.


On another note, I spent 60 bucks last year on some carbon arrows. For 12, after just target shooting I've got 4. 2 I just hunt with and 2 are lucky enough to have made it this far.

i know the feeling. i was killing little smiley faced santas at 15 then i moved out to just over 20 yards and wasn't doing to well. where i'll be hunting i won't be able to get a shot over 15 yards anyways. i shoot better between 5 and 20 yards with my 10 yard pin than with a 10, 15, and 20 yard pins.

if youre not confident at anything above 15 then make sure let the opportunity pass because youre better off letting it go then wounding it badly...

keep practising and your 25 will be simply, it will be the 35 that youll wanna work on

Move out to 30 yards and shoot. Practice atleast twice as far the distance that your comfortable shooting.

I think when you get that bow to fit you better you might improve some.

I shoot to 40 yards but cut myself off at 30 I had a nice broadside shot at 35 yards tonight and it was really hard not to shoot but I know better. Plus I have them patterned and they come through here every night.

well i got out and shot and i think my arm was just worn out by the time i got out to 20 yards. i went inside after shooting a bit at 15 and then went outside about a half hour later and the deer never stood a chance. :Di'm going to try and shoot some tomorrow before we leave but i'm not sure i'll have time.

My advice to new bowhunters is to find the max distance that you can put 5 0f 5 in the kill zone in practice and then cut it in half for your maximum range when it comes to live animals.
