Is this a good starter bow????

Would this be a good starter bow for a 28 year old male? Thanks
Matt

That will do it for sure. Looks like it has all you need. Go for it.

Not bad... I am fourteen years old and this is my first year bowhunting and i bought the Fred Bear TRX300, a little older model for about $200 new. I couldnt be happier with it but i am nowing looking into hoyt for future years. Very quiet bow,and shoots well. Accidently dry fired it tonight while practicing drawing back for my hunting trip tomorrow. but i checked it out and it appeared to be ok and no cracks or anything so i went out and shot it and it was still dead on.
But anyways i think that you would be happy with a fred bear for a starter i might also recommend the Fred Bear models TRX300, and the TRX32.

Good luck!

The bow will work but you will get no support at all from the store other than selling it to you. I doubt they know how to fit it to you or properly set it up. I hope you know a little about archery or know someone that does.

Unless you are lucky and your chain store has a knowledgable archery person, most don't. If it were me I would look for an actual pro shop and buy from there. Even if it cost an extra hundred bucks.

When i started i used a lefty PSE and it was really old. but all that matters is that you are consistant and are comfy using this bow. but make sure everything gets looked at on your bow.
