The place I hunt has several food plots, however only one is really secluded. This is the only place that we have seen deer moving during light for the last 2 weeks. I got a little too picky this year so I will be hunting with my muzzleloader for the last weekend since I have 2x tags to fill. I will be looking for a mature doe to tag or 3 1/2 year buck.

That 100" 8 pointer I passed the first week in November is starting to sound pretty good now.............

Late season hunting in my part of the state is pretty rough,no agriculture to speak of.Your choice of where to hunt really depends on what you have been seeing in the places you have been hunting through the season. Are you looking to fill a management tag are you trying to take a good buck.If you have area's where there are significant amounts of doe's and they are moving during day light hours you may get lucky and have a nice buck tending a second cycle doe,or first cycle yearling.
Good luck to you! Get out there and give it heck!
