I buy a new bow when they come up with one that blows my old one out of the water. It has to considerably better to justify the cost. Roughly every 3 years.

RE: How often do you buy a new bow?

I just bought my first new bow this year, I was on a pretty limited budget and decided on a Bear GT32. I haven't hunted with it yet, I'm still getting used to it. It's quite a bit different from the bow I use now--which I think was the first and only one my grandpa bought...I'm pretty sure its older than me.

I don't plan on buying a new bow for a while now yet...I'm sure it'll be aa few years.

I use the same Hoyt cam & 1/2 that I bought last year. This is only my 2nd year bowhunting, but I am going to stick with this bow for a while. I am very happy with it.
