I hadmy first high schoolwrestlin match last night and i had to break my finger the first period of the first match!!!!!!!!!!! I think im out 4 the rest of wrestlin season and i dont think i will be able 2 pull my bow back 4 a while.................[:@]...... Im goin to try in a couple of days when it HOPEFULLY isnt as sore so i hope i can still hunt........

If you use a release that fastens to your wrist I would think you could still get it done. Good luck with that finger bud.

Which finger did you break? I started wrestling when i was 5 the whole way up through college. I think you'll be fine, just tape your fingers together for wrestling and for shooting if its your trigger fingers practice using a different finger.

Yeah, you can start using your middle finger for something more than flicking people off and picking your nose.

I have always feared getting injured andnot being able to hunt like that.

Im right handed and i broke my pinky finger on my left hand. i broke it at the growth plate and my finger and palm is bruised. I tried pulling my bow back today and i got it back but it hurt like a b*****...................

I have 2 go 2 a bone specialist this week but i think i will be out of wrestling for the rest oof the year.

I got in a fist fight abouta month an half or so before archery season, it was a drunken mess and I kinda end up punching the sidewalk accidently. To make a long story short I broke my left thumb. My shooting was severly affected by this a month an half after, and I had to completely change my sights on my bow (hurt like heck pulling bow back and holding it wasn't fun either.) But I made it thru it and managed to harvest 2 does so far. Now that my hand is all healed I can't seem to get a buck in range thats worth shooting.

I did tape my thumb up, and wore a heavier glove, so maybe this will work for you as well.
