[:@][:@]a monster is dead! Nice giant 9 pointer that's been roaming my land for years is gone. Hit crossing the road by a Honda Civic. The deers spine was crushed and legs broken and still made it 70 yards up a hill on the other side of the road. I had big plans for him for bowseason next October. It's a shame somebody couldn't put a tag on him. I'm bummed.

man i'm really sorry to hear that. that's always hard to have happen. i found a really big 8 year before last and it still makes me sick whenever i see that rack ot think that someone didn't find him. he wasn't hit by a car but i think someone shot him and didn't track him well enough.

I have found a couple sets of those m,yself.It is a shame that they couldnt be found by the person who shot them.They both were trophies.

It always amazes me that big bucks like you are talking about can spend years avoiding bowhunters, gun hunters, people, dogs, coyotes, wolves, etc.........and then get taken out by a car. It just doesnt seem right and out of everything, a car should be the easiest for them to avoid
