LATE SCRAPE!!!
I hunted a spot yesterday and saw about 6 or 7 deer come out of a huge thicket but they were out of range. Today, no hunting on Sundays, I went back tothe spot to see what sign I could find in the snow that we got last night. I found a big scrape 25yrds from where I sat yesterday! This scrape was hours old, I couldn't believe it. This seems late for scrapinghere in SE Pa doesn't it?

RE: LATE SCRAPE!!!
I don't know about Pa., but I took my biggest buck in early December not far from new scrapes made within 2-3 days.

RE: LATE SCRAPE!!!
I have heard it is not unusual for a deer to start back up with the scrapes and rups. After the rut they go back do keepin up their area.
