I had to pick up my brother tonight from basketball practice. So me and my buddy decided we would pick him up and take the binocular's and take the long way home through the back-roads. Well half-way home we spotted several deer in a field. So we put the headlights on them and man was we all shocked. As three of the six deer picked up their heads, we all gasped...as three of the deer were huge bucks. One was definetly a 10pt, and the other two were just as big if not bigger. After 5 minutes of watching, we drove on down the road and saw another huge buck. A perfect, heavy massed, 8pt. Talk about BUCK FEVER, it's running through me now. I'd say it's going to be a long night with little sleep.

Tomorrow I'm hanging my tree stand since it's raining. I'm going to climb the new tree, put my bow holder in, and tie my hoist rope to the stand. Then quickly return home and wait to go to bed and Saturday I'll be in the woods. Bright and early Saturday morning.

Good luck, We get started up here on Monday morning. Taking the day off, hopefully the deer will be waiting. I've been having a hard time sleeping all week, just keep going through possible scenarios, stand placement, did I miss something...etc.

GOOD LUCK HIGH COUNTRY,

As I mention earlier in other post I have to wait until next week. But, it's well worth the wait.
By the way, who in WV have the opportunity to hunt on Sunday's. Only a few counties in the state have Sunday hunting this year, thank goodness I hunt in one of them, Webster.
