Urine in the woods
 

I was walking through my woods and saw some urine on the ground. I looked at it and it was pretty much straight down into a little whole. I walked for a couple more yards and found some more urine. This time it was spread all over the place, nothing like the first one. Do you guys think that you can tell the gender of a deer by there urine in the snow? Or any other explanation would help.

I've heard that buck urine tastes kinda like cinnamon. Let us know if ya got a biggun around there!

that's kinda crazy, I mean it makes total sense, I've just never seen deer urine in the snow i guess that i can recall. that's interesting though...

i believe i heard somewhere that males will walk/run etc while urinating
while a doe will stop

not sure on the accuracy..just what i heard

Saw tracks in the snow this year and a buck walked while he was urinating. It was clear as day. I think does urinate sraight down between their legs.

Doe pee will fall straight down just in front of the rear legs. A bucks little dinger points towards his front legs so the pee pee will be closer to the front legs. you should be able to tee easily in the snow who the culprit is. Oh and Jeff isn't kidding taste it and see if there is a hint of cinnamon, if ther is you got oyurself a nice buck for sure. Good luck

Hmmm...I always thought it was closer to nutmeg than cinnamon. :D

I was going to ask if there was any attempt to spell a name?

A doe has more of a spray and a buck tends to be more concentrated, like comming out of a water pistol.;)
