142 3/8'' gross score. Shot this buckon Nov.15th2002 on public land. A doe passed by at 15 yards and about 10 minutes later this buck came up through the woods on a trail that would have taken him out of bow range. But when he hit the does trail he started tracking her and offered a 15 yard shot. Funny thing is he was tracking the doe the wrong direction. Proved to be a deadly mistake on his part.

C-WOODS, that is exactly why I don't try to "lay down a scent trail" for bucks to follow, because of my fear that my luck would have the buck going the wrong way on the scent trail takin him away from me instead of to me!

It was 89 hrs of pure entertainment!!!! For the bucks I was seeing in that area I would have sat all season and enjoyed "tag soup" and still called it a success
