Nothing overwhelming, I just don't like the open front. When you climb, you are hanging by your arms, not sitting. Personally, I just don't like it.

I too dont like the open fronts. I watch my buddies climd and
it makes my arms hurt. Sit, climb, sit, climb. Much better IMO.

I have a bushmaster which is also a summit open front and i love it. Its great for bow and gun hunting and with an open front you can get up the tree alot faster.

I own a Bushmaster and its great, but then again at 41 years old Im probably much younger and in much better shape than 99% of you guys so using my arms, vrs using a stand that requires you to sit all the way up, is a piece of cake. hehe
