spooking deer

I have heard that if you place a scouting camera at about eye level of a deer, the flash could make them avoid the area. Is this true? I really want a camera but if it is going to spook the deer then forget it. Also, what are some good DIGITAL game cameras under $200.

NO ,not true.
I have a few cams out (for a few years)and dosent seem to bother them .
Sometimes they spook, but they always come back.I sit in the stand and watch them, they see the case and they see a flash but 9 out of 10 times they dont care.
Good cams under $200???
I dont think you could make your own(good-one)for under 200.
I did here Cabelas has thier PennsWoods 2.0 for $200 in the Bargain cave
Thats a prettygood cam.
