A little 6 point I arrowed two weeks ago.

Went out two weeks ago to get a friend a deer and decided to work some parts of my land I normally dont have much luck on. To make a long story short, my buddy did not get anything, I arrowed this guy because I keep getting on him and letting him walk. The last time, I decided to go a head and take him.

Lol. I shot him on the other side, He was quartering away. I put the arrow behind the diaphram causing it to punch both lungs and sticking into the shoulder blade on the pictured side. It did not pass through.

That's quite a rack on that deer burnie. Looking at his head and hooves he can't be more than a year and a half, but his rack looks like at least a 2 and a half year old from around here (MA) anyway.

Good genes in your area or what?

Nice going. How has the hunting been? I've been hunting around Jonestown and haven't hardly seen any movement. Its been too dang hot. I've seen one 8 as I was leaving one night and the last few times I've seen 1 small doe and had 6 doe last week but the new suit I bought was too noisy and spooked them. So, no deer but I exchanged the suit.

Nice buck, congrats! Someone already said it, but I'd have to agree that he pushed his luck one to many times.

Nice deer, makes me hungry just looking at that nice hanging meat. Think I'll have to fry me up some. Good work and sounded like an excellent hit

Same here. That is one of the reasons I took him. It has been real hot. I tagged both of my does earlier this season on one of the only cool mornings. I had not seen many bucks, and this guy was as good as I had seen. Not a great buck for this land but meat either way. This hunt was possibly my last deer hunt this season, so I kinda had to take him.

By the way, he was a three year old at the least. If I had a large streatch of land he would be simply a cull buck. I got my tags filled and meat in the freezer, so life is good. He was a little bigger than he looks, he weighed 145lbfield dressed, so he made a good amount of meat. We had some last night.;) I keep holding out because I normally see bucks like this all the time, but due to the hot weather and the lack of hunting time, he had to do.
