Im just a beginner and this is just small game more of a varmint shot but I was pretty happy with it. Id like ti if some you could take a look and let me know what you think.

I couldn't see the video, it was too dark on my monitor. If you are going to shoot bunnies blunt tips work much better.

Im not going to call you an idiot but probably making a video of you showing off a dead rabbit that you shot might not have been the smartest thing to do here. Dont get me wrong there's nothing the matter with being proud of a good shot, but some might not be so happy for you. Good luck.

What is up with this discontent? I have seen many pics of animals taken here, what's the difference. Am I an idiot because I posted a deer I shot last week? Am I an idiot because I posted a picture of the heart, I put the arrow through at 40 yards. I posted these pics through out the year with no one bashing me, I don't get it. I think it was a heck of a shot, and I applaud you for utilizing the animal. How many here would kill a rabbit, for no other reason than fun and leave the animal laying where it was shot? Id wager many. asaVince, you keep the posts coming. I appreciate it.

great shot, good table fare. But I think I'd leave out the part about shooting a small game animal in the spotlight.... Just me though.

I'm not sure some of you are seeing the video. It doesn't bother me, personally, but I wouldn't be waving an arrow around with a rabbit stuck to the end of it by its head while someone was videoing it. Looks like the guy was just trying shock his girlfriend or something. Pretty pathetic, IMO. But that's just my opinion.

asaVince, if you're an idiot for making a 40yd head shot on a rabbit you intended to eat as gzq38b says then I need to know where to sign up to be an idiot myself. Good shootin', I'm sure you have much experience to bring to this table. |

Burnie - a couple things. Firstly, this video was passed around a few weeks ago by someone else (really neither here nor there I suppose). Secondly, there seem to be an ever increasing number of trouble makers on the sight who post two or three "honest" questions and then show their true colors, seemingly only trying to start arguements among members on the board. I've counted three in as many weeks. Although this post may not fit that bill, some folks are likely tired of the same old games. JMO.

I'm the one who thought this guy was an idiot. Idiot is a strong word but I'm not impressed by the video. You are waving a dead rabbit around on an arrow for a couple of minutes while you flaunt what a redneck you are for shooting a rabbit because it was eating your grapevine. It's not like you went out rabbit hunting and shot it. You were pissed because he was eating your grapesso youflung an arrow from 40 yards. You got lucky to hit it in the head. Now you stand around and brag about what a great shot you are while this thing dangles from the end of your arrow. Then you act like you're chasing people around with it. I just think you are not showing much respect for the animal you harvested. You are only interested in showing what a "Redneck" you are, hence the title of your video is "Wow I'm a Redneck". Not to mention the fact that you shot the rabbit under a spotlight... Idiot, redneck, violator.... Take your pick. Just don't call yourself a hunter. Hunters follow the law and respect their quarry.
