How many days did you bow hunt this year?
 

How many days did you bow hunt? I shot a Pope and Young buck the second day of bow season an then I was all done for the year.That is not much deer hunting for me.

I didn't spend much time deer hunting either, but managed to spend about 50 days in the field hunting different species.

I didn't hunt as much as normal this year. I took a doe and buck before the end of the second week. I went out sparingly after that for a 2nd doe. I did a lot more small game hunting this year than normal because of that.

14 for elk and 78 days of whitetail hunting for a total of 92 days in the field.

Well..... we started archery season off on July 1st hunting on some crop damage permits. The farmer didn't want any guns. Then the season came in Sept 15th and it goes out January 31st. Since we have unlimited doe permits I haven't tagged out. I think I'll quit on Jan 31st and get ready for turkeys.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> Who's counting.???....(besides my wife). I try to get in a couple days a week as a minimum. Early in the season more. After a couple bucks I slow down.

Too many according to my wife. I don't keep count but probably more this yr. than in the past few yrs.

Never keep a count but I would assume between 20 and 30 mornings or evenings. I'm sure if I asked my wife she'd give me an actual number. Did have a pretty good year with getting one by bow and two by rifle.

Hunted either mornings or evenings 21 out of 23 days during our archery season this past year.Worst year I've had in a long time.Only saw 19 deer from my stands,and only 1 buck.

on my 5 day of bow hunting i shot a 10 pointer so my archery season was a short one but did hunt for a doe and spent about 10 more days bow hunting..gun season i spent 5 full days in the wood out of 9 and saw one deer(it happened to be the biggest buck i have ever seen, 10 points with at least 12 inch brow tines and very tall and of coarse i missed him, my bullet deflected off a tree or he would have been mine) bad new about that is he was later shot by the neighbors...green scored over 160 and was 24 inches wide..

Montana Turkey Archery Spring - 3 hunting 4 helping others.

Wyoming Elk archery - 6 hunting 10 helping others (wilderness self pack trip)

Montana fall turkey (archery) - 2 hunting

Montana Rifle (took son) 6 days (wilderness self pack trip)

Montana Rifle deer (took son) 6 days

Colorado 6 day rifle trip elk/deer combo

also went duck/goose hunting (shotgun obviously)several times

One coyote archery (2 days) montana 1 day rifle (2 dawgs)

Fishing packtrip in wyoming - - 4 days (elk scout too)

this year was awesome for me - but budget will slow all this down for next year! Darn the bad luck...going archery elk Colorado and archer elk Montana 3 wks total + MT turkey spring archer - would never miss that!

Not enough!! I don't have an exact count, but probably about 15 mornings or evenings. Limited because of land to hunt, but next year I am leasing some land so it should definitely be more. I still have this weekend and plan on getting out twice.

I hunted 27 days out of a possible 39 I think. The other days we're spent chasing turkeys and small game. I killed a doe on day #5 and had countless oppurtunites after that. No buck luck though, I had to wait till firearm season.

I had an outstanding season. I hunted 4-5 days a week from Oct.1st-Nov.26th. I seen over 250 deer, just a few bucks tho. I seen a ton of turkeys, even had 2 tags for them and still didn't hunt for them. In early Sept. I got to see my friends hounds put a nice bear up a tree and helped poke it in the butt with a stick to keep it up the tree long enough for everyone to get to the tree and see the bear. Now that was a rush. Nothing like catching a hound under a tree with a bear comming down on top of you only 8 feet above your head, popping his jaws and slapping the tree. Gotta love that. The best part was letting &quot;him&quot;, yes i was a boar, got to run another day. If we would get any snow up here I just might be able to see those great hounds put a bobcat or two up a tree.

I didn't have a lot of time in the woods but they were effective.

I hunted a total of 5 days and got 2 bucks to my name. I am on for winter bow so I may have some more days in the woods. Cant wait.

About 22 days for deer.

Not near as much as I wanted to but I still have 6 days left. I have been seeing alot of deer the last few days. Could of shot a doe last night but didnt want to use my last tag on her still holding out for the big boy but with only 6 days left he might of got the best of me this year.

I hunted all of the Saturdays of our six week archery season.....so there is 7 days. I hunted at least 3 or 4 evenings during the week prior to Daylight Savings Time...so there is another 16 days at max. Then I hunted for a week straight of our extended archery season after Christmas....along with two more Saturdays. So, 32 days would seem about right.

i probally hunted 45-50 days passed many small bucks and 1 decent 2 1/2 year old. i shot a doe (on video) and filmed my uncle taking a doe.

Almost every weekend from Sept 15, to Jan 6 Minus a couple of days for work,Rain and wind. And a little league football game. And one week in Maryland and the week after Christmas. Football really screwd me this year, since I was the head coach. But next season will be diferent because my boy will play for the middle school, hopefully! So I'll have alot more evening hunts this next season. I guess around 40 or 50 days maybe.

Not sure. I would guess about 40 times. Saw my biggest buck this year(twice). A 10 pointer. Took a shot at him at about 15 yards and missed! Still hunting.

Last year i hunted 6 days a week during season, this year I hunting around 10 times total. Going to college 3 hours away takes a lot of you hunting time away.
