introduction and question
Hi , i would like to introduce myself and start with a question.
I would like to start with Bowhunting and i am thinking about purchasing a Browning Rage One with the combo package. http://www.browning-archery.com/products/2006/rageone.htm I am going to get my bow adjusted to my draw weight and lenght. Is this a good setup to start learning the art of bowhunting? |
RE: introduction and question
Hey Jim
Any bow is good in the right hands. If you practice enough it will be a great bow. |
RE: introduction and question
Welcome to the forum!:)
I really can't say much about the bow. Haven't shot a Browning in many years. Looking at the specs though, I can't see anything that would make me say it's not a good choice. |
RE: introduction and question
I have a Browning Rage. I love this bow because it's very forgiving and after having it set up I was inside of 4 inches from 30 yards on my first day shooting ever.
It is very adjustable with length and weight and I can have my son use it when I move on to another bow. The combo package comes with everything you need except arrows and a release. |
RE: introduction and question
I also have a Browning Rage One. It shoots as good (if not better)than any of my other more expensive Brownings. I will finish out the season with this bow. For a low cost bow I can't believe how good it shoots.
Don't even think twice about your purchase, you will enjoy it very much. |
RE: introduction and question
Welcome, sounds good to me so far. I would recomend shooting the bow first.
