The does are your key, if you have does then there will be a good buck come thru there at some point and time. Also that 8 will be a nice deer in a yr or 2. I would try to keep him around. Just remember your luck can change in the blink of an eye.

It's probably because for so long PA has not had a good management program. Untill recently you used to be able to shhot anything that had 3 inches or better. that = filling all the first year bucks!!!! Thats why I had to stop hunting w/ friends that lived just north of you past Harrisburg.

Let them go and they will mature.

Is that feeder the only place you are huntin?? Maybe change stand locations. That feeder area may be burned out due to over exposure by you. Sure the young bucks and does will still visit, but the big boys are probably avoiding it like the plague.

My one buddy up here at school, lives in york. He killed a big 6 point last friday near his house. Good luck, hope you see a bigger one.
