My father had a doe mounted many year's ago ,I could never understand why yhe did it ,but it does look pretty good beside his buck . I don't think I'd ever have a doe mounted ,but then again you just never know.

I made a promise to my wife that I would have her first deer mounted, and she got a button buck. I had it done on a pedestal, with a complete base and natural scene, it has grass leaves a small tree dirt, and everything, it looks like it is bedded in some tall yellow grass, it is one of the prettiest mounts I have and looks great in my game room with my bucks. Here is a pic of the mount with one of my bucks, I like the looks of it, but lots of my buddies question why I had it done, but they always comment on how pretty it is too.

The coolest mount I ever saw was a buck/doe side by side pedestal mount...it was bad ass...he was on the left, looking at it, and slightly higher than her with some vegetation around them for effect....really cool!

Yeah...I had a doe mounted once. She was standing out at about 50 yards, when this nice 8 pointer came up behind her ready to get 'er done. Well, he got into the act and was standing still, so I figured Id let him die with a smile on his face....
Needless to say, the doe was pretty stunned when all the weight on her back became suddenly still and fell off.
I always said Id like to go that way...maybe that buck felt the same way

one of the best looking mounts I have seen was a doe. It was at a local archery shop years ago. It was just a great looking mount, much better looking than I would have ever thought a doe mount would have looked.
