I can't say i have learned this because it has happened to me many times, it is when you let your guard down and you least expect to see something. You know what i mean?

I had three goals when I began this season. 1.to see more deer than I ever have. 2. to take more shots than the previous years. 3.to take more deer this year.....well 2 out of three aint bad. I did accomplish the first two and I learned to practice from an elevated position.............1B

lesson 1, never give up on YOUR hunting area, you know there there its just a mater of time. lesson 2, when your carring your stand out thats when youll see the most animals. lesson 3 never set your stand on your foot, it makes a very loud noise when it falls over. lesson 4, i can hold at full draw for 3 minutes, moose can use cover beter than you can. lesson 5, if you stop learning you must be dead.

THE THING I LEARNED THIS YEAR IS THAT THE BEST HUNT OF MY LIFE SO FAR WAS TAKING MY 5 YEAR OLD LITTLE BOY OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME CARRYING A BANANA SPLIT FOR US TO EAT AND HAVING HIM HOWL LIKE A WOLF OUT OF THE SHOOTING HOUSE TO ATTRACT THE DEER. I ALSO LEARNED THE GOOD LORD ABOVE HAS BLESSED ME IN MORE WAYS THAN I CAN COUNT WITH A BEAUTIFUL WIFE AND 2 LITTLE BOYS CANT WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR WHEN I TAKE THE YOUNGEST OYT FOR THE FIRST TIME.

If the conditions are right in your area and you know there's a big boy in the same area. If you get tired sitting in your stand make sure you have your saftey strap along and stay in your TREE!!!!. It's a long story.

Wait, wait, ready PLUG EM!!!!!

I learned that I don't get much time to hunt when I'm going to college 3 hours away from my hunting spots.
