I have a second job delivering pizzas and the kid who normally works saturday mornings quit on Friday afternoon. So naturally, they call on the only responsible, dependable adult in the place (me) to work on saturday morning, and every saturday morning thereafter. I worked from 8 in the morning to 6 at night. By the time I would have showered, changed and gotten into the woods, I would have had about 5 minutes to hunt. To make a long story short, I waited until after church Sunday and went hunting. I didn't see a thing.

At least I got a chance to shoot for an hour or so on the really nice archery range on the public land where I was at.

there is just no way...I would be an ex-employee. Somethings you just don't mess with, and opening day is one of em.
