I responded"clover field"not only is it low enough,I could wear rubber boots and not worry about leaving scent.but i think it just feels right!;)

clover field cause the people that own the property we hunt planted some clover in the field that i have my stand on and i have seen deer everyday on stand except two and all but one stop to eat

I voted for the oak forest. So far I've had the best luck hunting in wood areas.....Only been hunting 3 years, took my first doe last year in the woods and my first buck this year in the woods.

I voted swamp, because it's closest to describing the marshy bottoms I'm concentratin my hunting in this year.

I cheated,I picked the scrape line and that could cover all but the freezer.:D

I aylays hang to the small thickets in the otherwise open woods. I've seen dozens of big bucks in the thickets over the last 20 years. Pick the really dense thickets closer to the houses. Even if your shooting is limited, you'll be surpised at the number / caliber of deer you'll see.
