Didn't your Mommy ever tell you it was a good thing to have an imagination? :)Those sounds help to keep you on your toes...;)

If you are lucky enough to spend enough time bowhunting you will come to recognize (most times, not always) the difference in the cadence of the sound that a squirrel makes versus the cadence of a deer walking or even a rabbit for that matter...

Hunting that high up I hope you carry a parachute with you ;):D.

I have been bow hunting for about 6 years and I still get excited when I hear noises that catch my attention. I think that I am getting a little better at deciphering what they are but seems like just when you think you have them all figured out something goes and throws you a curveball. Oh well I just keep on looking cause you just never know.

There is this one particular field where a tree and the brush around it gets me everytime I sit there. I've seen it probably 30 times, but still have to do a double take everytime. Just one of those perfect images.

I stillsay it's a deer ........ it just hasn't moved in 2 seasons.:D:D[:-]
