I'M SITTING HERE AT MY COMPUTER AFTER HUNTING TIL 11 THIS MORNING (HAD A 8 POINTER 5 FEET FROM ME WHILE ON THE GROUND) AND MY DOGS START GOING CRAZY SO I WENT OUT ON MY DECK JUST IN TIME TO SEE A HOG OF A BUCK GO THROUGH THE BACK OF MY YARD AFTER A DOE!! I TRIE D TO CATCH UP BAREFOOTED AND IN SHORTSITS 80 DEGREES) BUT TO MANY ACORNS TO RUN ON WITH NO SHOES, ANYWAY I GOTTA GO

Haha...all I can think of is a dog chasing a car--what's it gonna do if it catches it?

Anyways, I'd definately suggest getting back out in that stand!

I thought I was the only one who hunted in shorts. I'm in Florida, that's my excuse. If you can imagine the thinnest mesh suit you can buy, I wear that and dark colored boxers so the deer don't see my whitey's.

You guys in the mid-west are getting a taste of hunting like I do in 80 degree weather. I'm usually sweating and praying for a consistent wind.

Good luck with your new "Indian style" hunting. Don't let the neighbors see you running down the driveway with your bow in hand and your briefs, they might call the funny farm on you.

Yep, last week we had a deer in the front yard, right in front of the bedroom window! Wife saw it when she got home at 6:45. Had another deer in the back yard Sunday night.
