Crazy old man story
 

hit him in the neck...I was about 20ft he was quarting away. saw my fleching sticking out...i waited 2 hours n started tracking at about 7 followed really good blood for about 1/4 mile across the road. Then i heard something run into a fence so i backed out till 12:30 followed good blood and found my arrow.After about 15 yrds from my arrow i couldn't find blood. Waiting to go start again in the morning heres the pics of my arrow. any tips would help a lot.

I'm guessing after tracking him that far he's probably going to recover. But you have to keep looking regardless.

Crazy man story
 

Ok im looking for my buck across the road..following the blood trail. some 60 yr old man comes up to me and askes me what im doing and i told him my story. The old guy grabs the neck of my coat and starts yelling at me for tresspassing.... i asked in a very nice voice for him to take his hands off me... this enrages the old guy and he starts swinging me around.... telling me not to tell him to take his f--ing hands off me...finally he calms down cuz I keep telling lets go call the sheriff...and i don't know how i kept my cool..i should of just pist pounded him....but i could tell he was half retarded old man....i just kept telling him lets call the sheriff.... so anyways he walks me to the gate of the fence lets me out and says to stay the f off his property and that hes calling me in...so i go home and call the sheriff and he told me i was in the right and if i want to call the game warnden...he told me the quy was nuts...and it would be best to just forget about it and leave the deer go..... Any thoughts?

Oh hell no you go back out there with the game warden in tow and look for that deer. Sounds like the old geezer needs a lesson in hunting rights. All landowners that act like this need a lesson like this once in a lifetime. People like him really piss me off. I probably couldn't have kept my cool, kudos to you. You go get yer deer.

The guy sounds a little off the wall. But here in pa the proper procedure would of been ask permission first before entering the property and then jf refused call the warden.
