Do deer eat Bitternut Hickory nuts?
 
As the name implies the nut taste bitter to humans.I have seen squirrels eat them though.Does anyone know if deer like them?Thanks

Deer do not eat them, only squirrels and chipmunks, etc.

I have read that they can but I think they would be low on their list. The bitter part won't bother them. Most acorns are bitter and so are crab apples but they love them.
