My son has been bowhunting since he was 8 With me, He's 12 now and goes On our place all the time. He carrys a 2-way radio so he can radio home that's 300 yards away. Mo does not require any test for bow-hunting as far as i know, any i hope theres no age limit either. There used to be a 45lb minimum on a bow. But they done away with that.

what type of card like the heritage card

Hunter education certificate requirement
Hunters born on or after Jan. 1, 1967, must complete an approved hunter education program and show their card or verify certification through the permit vendor’s computer terminal. Those under age 11 cannot obtain hunter education certification and thus cannot purchase regular firearms deer or turkey hunting permits, but they may purchase a Youth Deer & Turkey Hunting Permit without being hunter education certified.
