I like my fletchmaster. I also shoot off my string (no loop). In my opinion this is the best I have used and I have never had a problem with it. I think they are running about 45 to 50 dollars.

Scott Little Goose. The Little Bitty Goose was a Bitty too small for my large hands. I've gone back to a compound after 6 years of shooting stickbows. Age and arthritis has caught up with me and the string fingers on my right hand can't handle the load anymore. I shot a Scott caliper release for quite a few years when I was shooting compounds. They make great releases.
