decoy burnout

I was curious if anyone has any thoughts on using the same decoy setupin the area of the same stand on repeated visits? What about alternating from a doe to a buck? What are some tips on using a buck decoy, do they need to provide the similar movement as a doe decoy(tail, ears/more,less). Never tried the buck decoy, it could get uglyduring this time of the year.

RE: decoy burnout

I try not to hunt in the same spot more than 2 days in a row with the decoy. I also use a piece of white fabric attached to the tail, so that it "flicks" when there is a wind. I think it makes the decoy seem more life like.

I also NEVER leave my decoy out over night. If I don't take it back with me, I at least tip it over, and cover it with a camo bag.
