The only thing that would have made this story better was if this poor guy had just gotten back from an unsuccessful deer hunt with his buddies, walked in the house, and than battled this deer.

I love how the deer was in the room, he walked out and told them to call the cops, then went back in. I just picture some guy rolling his sleeves up and saying "Call the cops! I'm going in!" and then busting the door down.

Wow, Peoplelike us spend hours out in our stand in search for whitetails and come up empty. And this guy's at home and harvests himself a buck. Maybe that is what I'm doing wrong.

With all due respect, this buck must have been badly wounded or something. Even if it was a year and a half old five pointer it would nearly be impossible for the average guy to wrestle with it and break it's neck.
