How do you score a rack?

I know this sounds like a stupid question but I've never scored a whitetail'srack! I see you take diameter measurements from three spots times two, what about the spred inside or out?
Thanks

I score them as "Buck", "Nice Buck", "Big Buck", "Bodacious Buck" and "Holy CRAP look at that buck".

I always go to the boone and crockett website. All you have to do is enter the lengths in the appropriate boxes and it scores it for you. It's pretty simple.
I haven't been to the site in a couple of years, but I'm assuming they still have it.

Pope and Young and you take 4 diameter measurements on each main beam.
