best in sent containing suits.
what is the best "sent locking/absorbing" suit on the market? I have the gore-tex suppressent suit now but I doubt it's effectiveness. I can still smell odors (if you know what i mean) when I am wearing the suit. shouldn't they be absorbed by the suit?
jsut wondering if anyone else has noticed this with other brands? |
RE: best in sent containing suits.
Outdoorsman - I don't think that the suit is/was designed to "filter" those types of odors.
I have the Supresscent also and have found that "when used as directed" , it is very effective. I was able to get my first-ever kill this year from UPWIND. I had no choice, so I stalked in from upwind and got the kill. RE: best in sent containing suits.
the carbon/charcoal is not odor speicific in it's odor containing abilities. that is why i was inquiring about other brands. I have had animals downwind of me who have and have not smelled me. I shot a coyote yesterday downwind and he never knew i was there. I have also had some deer downwind that did know i was there.

I use both the Scent-Lok and ScentBlocker and have had excellent luck in both. This season I'm wearing a Scent-Lok liner suit under ScentBlocker camo. Then I spray evrything down with Carbon Blast and this system really seems to produce results.
