Cut Corn or Standing Corn

The farmer we get to hunt on in Iowa has yet to cut his corn. Do you think this will be a problem. I have heard deer prefer cut corn over standing corn. Do you think they will stay in the corn all day.

Need your advice?

Thanks

Hope for real high wind to allow you to hunt in the corn! They do seem to stay in the corn if it is up, and does seem to cut down on sightings outside the corn until they cut it.

Ditto. The farmer whose land I hunt on just cut his corn in the last couple days... I haven't been seeing squat to speak of before that...

I that right, that would explain why I didn't see ANYTHING but tracks out at my friend's property with corn. Someone supposed to cut it, when I don't know. They can hide, eat, andbreed right therein the corn probably.
