Fred Bear

What do you guys think of the fred bear bows? Gander Mountain has the bow loaded for 499.99 with 6 gold tip carbon arrows and release. There PSEs are about the same price with nothing on them just the bare bow. I shot the Browning, PSE, and the fred bear bows and the PSE and the Fred Bear shoot about the same groups. The PSE is a little lighter but not by much. The browning is just out i didnt like it at all. Any other input would be great. tryin to decide the one i should get.

See if you can shoot it and decide for yourself. Don't get caught up in the name on the bow...find something that feels good and is within your budget. PSE's are very popular, I bought one for my step-son and he (and I) have been very happy with it. My youngest shoots a Browning...also a nice bow. BTW, PSE makes the Browning bows...and heavier is sometimes not a bad thing...makes it more stable in the hand and thus more accurate.

Good luck...shoot some bows and find the right one for you...
