First trail cam buck
Well, about a month ago, I gave in to temptation and bought a trail camera. BassPro had one on clearance, and I went for it. I am pretty happy. Lots of does, and this one buck. Both pics are the same buck on different nights.
I figure him at 2 1/2. What do you think? ![]() ![]() |

RE: First trail cam buck
He looks like a yearling to me. Very slender neck and under 100 inches. Looks like you have some good genetics in your area from the pic.
Good luck out there. |

RE: First trail cam buck
I also began putting out a trail cam. Justified the expense due to high gas prices (it costs me $100 to visit my property).
My first buck was an eye openner as I had no idea this size deer existed in my woods. I've gotten three photos of him but nothing in the past month. Just lots of does. ![]() |

Good pics. They are addictive so get ready.

RE: First trail cam buck
The camera is a Non Typical Vision. I believe they have stopped making it, which is why it was onclearance. It has an Olympus 35 mm camera in it. Yes, I can see that it is going to be addictive. I have to fight the urge to check the camera on a nightly basis.
