fuzzy target or fuzzy pin?!
 

This is a newbie question for sure!

When aiming should the sight be in focus or the deer? So many things I've read say that you should pick a SPECIFIC spot on the animal; so I assume that you're focused on the deer like a laser and you only see the glow of the pin peripherally. Am I right?

PS: Don't worry, I'm not going to do any bowhunting till NEXT season!

With me if my sight is clear then i'm not focused on the target. If my target is clear and my sight is fussing then i'm ready to shoot.

I'm not completely sure what I do. I've always just assumed I shot like an open sight gun, focusing on the front sight(pin). I'll pay attention the next time I shoot.
