Adjacent to swales and scrape lines, and doe feeding areas in the evening.

i scored on a rutting 9-point buck and my roommate almost scored on a nice 8 from the same stand that was situated on the top of a ridge. There were rubs all over the top and i later realized that i was hunting a saddle about 200 yards across. the does were bedding on the one side of the ridge and the bucks were lower in the thicker stuff. the scent from the ground was blowing down the hill right into the buck beds....a hot doe came by leaving her trail and an hour later the 9 point walked by andi let him have it....so between bedding areas seems like the best for me so far....good luck

Where the girls are! Find the does and you will eventually see the bucks. Staying in your stand all day helps............

When the does are running from the bucks hunt outer fingers and points of woods. They try and hide by running into these tips and places where deer are usually not seen. When they are accepting the bucks main trails and center sections work well for me. Your liable to see them any where when they are running.

Any travel corridor for the does... The best I have ever seen was a staging area between the bedding and feeding grounds. The bucks will cruise it several times a day.
