Pat,
What part of WV was you hunting? I had friends who were in Monterville in Randolph County since Saturday. They had so much snow it knocked the power lines down and they lost power Tuesday night. They came back home to SC yesterday. I was really disappointed I wasn't able to make the trip this year due to a knee that was slow to heal from arthroscopic surgery this past May. I guess I didn't miss much this year, other than I would have loved to have seen the snow. I think it has snowed maybe a half dozen times in the 29 years we have been in SC. I've seen more than that in my 20 trips to WV for deer hunting over the past 23 years!

Bill-
This bear was taken in Nicholas County, which is South West of Randolph. There was still a bit of snow on the ground yesterday but we didn't get nearly as much as they did to the North of here, very heavy wet snow, broke power lines and brought down alot of trees.
Randolph County is on it's own weather pattern...

Pat, congrads on the bear. Man those things are getting way over populated in the 4 bow hunting only counties here in West Virginia. Glad to see you take one out and finally get to put a picture with the name.
