Buck Bedding Areas

This past weekend, I was doing some Pheasant Hunting and Kicked a whopper 12 off his bed. He was huge, the sighting was quick, but I am fairly sure he was in the 160s. I dont Bowhunt the area much, thus I dont know the patters well. Do you think this buck uses this small pathc of woods often for a bedding area??

I have next week off and will be hunting everyday all day, so any info will help, I may have to try and sneak in on this deer.

Thanks

CB

I would tend to hunt that same area if I were you as long as no shots were fired during your pheasant hunt.

A few years back I kicked up a nice buck while hunting deer (had to shoot a doe first). I kept that area quiet for two days to return. I hunted it the last day and the buck was there, but not within range. So, I think you have a chance.

Ya, no shots fired, unfortunately. But the woods is small, probably 12 acres or so. I am just hoping that we didnt spook him bad enough that he wont come back.
