Arrow Question

I'm thinking about changing from aluminum arrows to carbon. Will I be ready to just go and sight in on the target range after I buy them? Or will I have to make any major adjustments to my set up? Also I am shooting 85 grain Thunderheads on my aluminums ... will these still be ok for carbon arrows? Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

RE: Arrow Question

85 Grains will work fine you will however need to make som MINOR ajustments to you rest and you sight, but it wont be bad at all, i highly recomend you to make the switch. Make sure you buy quality arrows: ie. Goldtips, Easton Axis, or beemans. You will be very happy that you made the switch.

Highly Highly recomend the change. The adjustments will deffinatly be worth the time if you even have to do anything.

You will definatley notice the difference in the switch on your sight pins, and more than likely you will have to do some adjustments, or buy a new rest.

As for arrows, don't overlook Carbon Express, I've shot them for 5 years now and they fly true!

RE: Arrow Question

The Terminator Hunter Carbon Express just went on sale at Wallyworld today. Down to $5 each which is $2 less than I paid last year at Gander Mountain.

I love these arrows as they flew true twice last year bagging me my first bow buck.

You only have two choices of length at Wallyworld though, 29" and 31".

Go fur it.....

RE: Arrow Question

You need to take into account what your laws in your state are. For example, in Idaho you have to shoot a minimum of 400 gr. per arrow. So if I were to go from a heavy aluminum arrow to a light carbon, it will not only affect the flight of the arrow but the weight as well. Take all of this into account. But to be honest, I love my carbons!!
